The very first Lidl store opened in Ludwigshafen in 1973. Since then, the company has expanded throughout Europe. They now operate in over 30 countries, with more than 10,000 stores and over 140 Regional Distribution Centres. As a result, they currently have the largest network of discount grocery retailers in Europe.

It includes a 6 months sales training programme and a year’s placement within your chosen area. High performers will have the opportunity to extend their training and spend 6 months in Germany learning German and spending time in their International Head Office.
