Aideen Shannon is a qualified and accredited Coach with a specialist area in career management coaching and development. She is a trained behavioural assessor and psychometric practitioner with a variety of tools including several accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and works with organisations on team coaching and development programmes.

Aideen’s background includes over 25 years’ experience in Human Resources and Recruitment at European level, and she has worked for both global blue-chip organisations, the SME environment,and both public and private sectors. Industry experience includes IT/cyber-security, pharmaceutical/biologics, shared services, engineering and the university and medical sectors.

She has extensive experience within assessment centre high volume recruitment as well as more specialised public sector recruitment and has served on interview panels with both private and public sector bodies. She specialises in Competency Based Interview Training and Preparation for professionals along with building a successful brand utilising LinkedIn, networking etc.  She has been involved in implementation of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and online career training portals.  She has also worked as an Outplacement Consultant assisting professionals after redundancy.

Aideen has also delivered career management programmeswithin the University sector assisting third level students right up to postgraduate/Masters and PhD level.

Aideen has achieved chartered membership status with the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) and is a Senior Practitioner with EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council of Ireland).

Originally from Wicklow but married with two children in Cork for over 20 years, she likes nothing more than assisting others design their own career success and take the right steps infinding their ideal career path……  as well as the occasional beach walk with her dog.
