Last week, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said that “Ireland is open to investment, trade, talent and creativity” after announcing the creation of new tech jobs in Dublin. Varadkar was keen to highlight that jobs are being created in the tech sector and that companies are recruiting despite recent stories of difficulties in the sector.

Varadkar’s comments are in line with the latest Morgan McKinley Ireland quarterly employment monitor, which pointed out that despite the slower growth in technology post-pandemic, roles within the sector are still looking steady for 2023 and that there are a number of technology jobs in demand in Ireland.
